Reflection and Goal Setting for 2024

To reach our desired destination, we must first have a clear vision of where we want to go. Explore the questions below as you reflect on the past year and embrace the limitless possibilities, without constraints, for the year ahead. If you haven’t reached your goals in the past so you avoid setting them, we encourage you to not let the fact that you didn’t reach them in the time that you allotted to let it to hold you back from continuing to create a vision and set goals. Sometimes things take more time, sometimes your vision or goals change. None of that is a problem or a sign you’re off track. As long as you’re showing yourself love and compassion, healing past wounds, working on your sense of worth, listening to your intuition, taking aligned action and powering it all with faith and self-belief, you’ll arrive where you need to be, even if it’s not exactly where you initially imagined. Stay committed, joyful, determined and consistent. You and your dreams matter, you are important and the world needs your unique gifts and talents.

Craft a vision, write it down and visualize it daily. Whether big aspirations or a smaller goal, this practice is transformative. Joe Dispenza, a renown wellness educator, notes that 80% of those who write down their goals, reach them.

Leaders like Ray Dalio, Jim Carrey, Serena Williams, and Toni Morrison all emphasize the power of visualization. Becoming the person you aspire to be involves daily, intentional steps. It's a gradual process that requires consistent action, holding the vision and keeping the dream alive and faith.

To be clear, you also need to create plans and take action that is aligned with your authentic self. And facing the fears and limiting beliefs that come up will rewire your brain to play at the highest levels.

Envision qualities like joy or confidence. Decide to become that person and align your actions with your vision. Embrace the journey of daily choices that inch you closer to the embodiment of your envisioned self.
