Mary Louise Morris
Mary Louise is an expert in stress management. She specialises in helping adults and children to come into a soothing, enlivening, creative way of being with their own inner world. She combines mindfulness with focusing and self-inquiry. The outcome is a sense of clarity, relaxation and trust in your own innate resources to heal and find a way forward in any situation.
Mary Louise has been training adults in stress management techniques for the last ten years. She has extensive experience teaching mindfulness in schools with staff and pupils of all ages. She has many years’ experience of a form of self-inquiry developed by Byron Katie called The Work (www.thework.com) which is a simple yet powerful process that helps to identify and question the thoughts that cause stress. She also uses Focusing which is a body based emotional healing technique. Her work is based on the paradox of change, the only way to change is not to try to change. By coming into wise and kind relationship to ourselves exactly as we are, change can happen effortlessly.
