Meanwhile, we also know that stress is a major contributor to illness and mental health struggles with Dr. Mark Hyman stating that 95% of all illness is caused or worsened by stress.

The Financial Times regularly writes about how mental health and chronic illness challenges are affecting workers and productivity and recently shared that the UK workforce is the sickest in the developed world. More alarming, is that the biggest relative jump in economic inactivity due to long-term sickness is in the young, not the old. We can no longer ignore that the modern employee simply needs more comprehensive support.
